We are pleased to announce the following latest improvements to our ADSL* service:
* Hourly usage updates without disconnection, providing more accurate usage statistics to our customers.
* The ability to disconnect accounts immediately when the cap is reached.
* DSLSecure, enabling dsl accounts to be bound to 4 specific telephone lines, reducing the risk of account abuse.
These updates have allowed us to discontinue the dynamic timeout policy we had to previously employ, thus all connections are now only limited to the 24h disconnection policy imposed by SAIX.
We are also currently in the process of introducing a new account management interface for our ADSL (SAIX and IS) and Dialup users, which may be found at http://dsl.webafrica.co.za for our clients and http://dsl.wadns.net for our resellers. Should you be one of our users please feel free to test it out.
We appreciate any and all feedback and look forward to future updates that will further enhance our service offering.
Thank you for your continued support.
* Changes only apply to our SAIX-based accounts.
The login you must use is your ADSL login and not your client service area login!
