Yes I can Flatty. We had a friend that worked in Kuwait a couple of years. It's not all bad if you can live without the alcohol & bacon I suppose.

Yes, and as far as I know, Iceland's economy tanked with the global financial meltdown.

Well, I am weighing up between the US & the UK ATM, though leaning heavily towards the US - don't ask me why, all will be revealed when the time is nigh.

I don't know about that, RB - I tend to gravitate towards the equator, having lived in the UK for 5 years. These Southern & Northern most latitudes make my nipples hard.

I like Africa, South Africa especially. We've got just enough infrastructure to satisfy my transport/communication needs and we're technologically backwards and incompetent enough to satisfy my neurosis of being able to live "off the radar" if I so desire.
