Hey guys, Ive been extremely frustrated with Gorgos and its idiotic que system.
I made a char on the new English server over the weekend - ive completely forgotten the name but it starts with a K. lol. (fail i know!)

Anyway, its been an absolute breeze. Lag is non existant, the game plays so much better there. Its smooth, no screen hopping and no flippen ninjas. Strangely enough, the monster respawn rate doesnt seem to be so extreme either. I was able to quest with ease and I got 20 xp tokens for joining the server as a little bonus. Nice!

So thats where I am. I reckon Im going to stay there until gorgos gets better hardware and is able to handle the influx of players. I logged onto Gorgos last night just to make sure I wasnt being delusional and after a 52 minute wait in the que, game play was the same; jerking, bad lag and a stupid ninja stole my beehive i had downed 2 bear thingies for. haha! :D (i hate them ninjas!)

I made an Elyos character (lvl5) on Kalil over the weekend when Gorgos was down. I'm rather keen to see what their capitol city, Sanctum, looks like.

I have a feeling it's going to be next in line with overcrowding, but for now it seems to be working fine and no login queues. :)

I'll try that server tonight. Wanted to make a new char anyway. Just still pondering whether it will be a sorcerer or a spiritmaster.

Mine's a mage - going to be a spiritmaster.

If it's anything like a sorcerer you'll enjoy it a lot!

Funny enough, I made Elyos too. Haha.

So far out of all my chars, i enjoy the priest most. Im really into that char. Im not sure how it will pan out in later levels. Im yet to try a warrior though. Its hard finding a good scource for aion info on the web. Tons of sites trying to get you to buy guides! Anybody have a lnk?

After creating my new char (Elyos Mage) and playing a few minutes, I have a distinct feeling that Kalil is going to be the next server that will suffer from overpopulation. As I was able to pick up from the chats, there were a number of people there that got fed up with other servers...

It seems as if they are sorting a few things out and the ques have dropped dramatically.

Simple thing is that you have to "block" the spammers each time you log but at least your chat window is sane then.

I have an easy solution to the gold spammer problem (in WoW at least I dont know anything about AION). One should be allowed to kill any sub lvl 10 who chats in any channel without having to request a duel with them. They can place a 5 minute debuff after a chat where you're life is in danger. It should be called the "children should be seen and not heard" debuff. Problem solved

Hoss, in Aion, you can't whisper or chat in trade channel until you're level 5. Which is pretty funny when you see "fwghwagadz" running through the forest killing wild boars until he's big enough to spam the trade channels.

It gives me extra pleasure in running past him and ninja'ing all his mobs (Yes, you can ninja a kill that someone else tagged first if you out-aggro them :D)

If that was enabled i'd spend my evening killing Sparx and Dormie's new lowbies. I'd be a lowbie ganker of note :D
