Will Thumpy be available to tank? I know he is maintaining a background lurker status, and a raid would nullify that.

Hossie, happy to follow through on the suggestion, i have already spoken to my dear friend Enrose, so i hope he will be available to tank.

I kinda have an agreement with Thumpy, i am not going to ask him to come and raid, he is on the forums enough and i only want him to be on WoW when he wants to be on WoW - maybe we get lucky, but i don't want to put him a position where he feels the slightest obligation, and being the helpful old bastard that he is, the mere mention of his name in the thread my sway him to come and run.

Yes, i was planning on going over to healing, but i want to start focus on my plate wearers to get that tanking set for occasions such as these.

I will also pull Planky, my paladin out of Ire Infernus and add him to the guild, at 80 we have another active tank then (i must just pull finger and level the bastid.

One thing we also need to take cognisance of (officers) is that the group has changed, and i look at guys like Eyesocket and Garf and Alzemash who aren't always ready to raid at the specific times. The booking thing is a courtesy for guys like Frostbitten, who needs to make a few plans to clear his schedule and join us.

I think our raiding will definitely pick up in the new year, we have a couple of brilliant new recruits (and it's nice that they're friends of friends) and they are leveling and going tekere, after the december holiday, i think we will all run more heroics, but also do some more OS10s and EoE10s, because it drops some nice things, you know? And they're fun to do. I also foresee more ad-hoc runs, and that all will raise the question of DKP et al et al.

For now, let's just focus on the fun. We are never going to be a super duper serious raiding guild, we will raid when we want, but the aim is to have a laugh, not sit in church for fear of granny pinching if you jaagkak an.

On the tanking side or healing side I am happy to move Istmus over to either tanking or healing depending on what the guild wants. My gear is focussed on DPS but with a little help I can move it across to tanking easily and with a lot of help get a decent healing outfit together.

Frostbitten is at level 50 and when he gets to 80 he will be my primary DPS toon.

That should be done before the end of the year so the new year should be interesting.

Thank you all for your comments. I think we have a few characters that can tank. Our biggest problem is to find healers. Maybe we can focus on gearing Istmus for healing if you don't mind? :thumbsup: for being so willing to change your game-style for the guild :D

For me it is much more important to be part of the guild and for most of the content I want to see now I need friends.

Seeing as you guys are my friends I really don't mind speccing to meet the needs of the guild.

And you guys didn't know this, but you were two towns ahead of me before i started, it's when i saw what you okes were doing that i decided to do the same, i just think that i may have made smarter traveling choices that you okes, and the fact that i had an epic mount in outland shaved a few minutes off my time - BUT YOU HAD A MAGE!! You could've done Stormwind, westfall, lakeshire, darkshire, bootybay, PORTAL or Ironforge, where i had to fly for 6 minutes. PORTAL from Darnassus to exodar and back, instead of waiting for 4 boats between the two...

Admittedly, i LOVED the race - we never said it out loud, but we knew what it was, and what it was, was awesome!

1. OS10 - Definitely
2. EoE10 - Don't think so
3. ToC 5 - Fo sho!
4. ToC 10 - Aint no way in this blue sky that ANY combination of 10 chars in TKCC will be able to do it. First we need TWO tanks that can dodge XT002 type hits, and then we need two healers who can heal through that kind of damage. So far we have 1 of each.

I'm all for raiding, but i like badge collecting more and don't want raiding to become a serious aspect - BUT if you want to elevate our raiding status, you have my complete support.

That reminds me of the last Death Race we had where Titan & Crew used portals to get around while Veertjie and myself legged it across the Barrens - subjecting ourselves to Barrens Chat - and finally having a foot race to the finish with less than 10 seconds between our 2 teams!

We wiped like only we can. We got past the flame leviathan (1 or two towers can't remember) and then saw our bum's on that drake (cant recall his name right now either). We then went and smacked the living poo out of OS in order to resolve our inferiority complex, after which we cleared the arachnid quarter of naxx.

Most importantly we had a jol doing this run. Much riping off of Grooly's tanking skills was done

No, only half of us are geared for Ulduar, but we had a blast nonetheless.

Hell, it was Hoss' first time in there, he drove a demolisher, and we did leviathan with a tower up.

I think we should do more naxx and more OS to go badge farming! :D
