TG's is right though, Scrubs and How I Met your mother are the best sitcoms of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Scrubs with its unique approach to the genre and then their reckless abandonment of traditional social conduct, and then How I Met your mother FAR surpasses even the greats, like 'Friends', because in HIMYM they don't sell each other out in every episode, they're not sarcastic and mean to each other in every episode and they actually go to work, and some of the work scenes are the funniest (like conference calls on the roof, or Marshall with no pants)

A hearty salute to both of them, but to scrubs, you will always be my number 1 sitcom love, and i doubt they will ever be able to create something more awesome that you.

As for Scrubs - it's an emotional series of note. Stuff all the relationship drama. It's amazing how the show can be tummy turning funny at one part - and then tear jerkingly sad 5 minutes later.

The episode with Jordan's brother Ben was one such ep. :sadpanda:

Then of course there was season 5 episode 20 and 21 - where cox loses the three patients and The Fray's How to save a life plays, ONLY to be be played A YEAR later on Gray's anatomy and THAT made the song SUPER famous... sucky...

What was also really sad was JD and Elliot's first break-up, when Del Amitri's "Tell her" plays... OMG, BEST FRIGGIN SERIES OF ALL TIME. OF ALL TIME!!!

Of course Bones is a comedy, I just about kill myself laughing through every episode. the characters that work in the lab are hilariously funny and not your average run of the mill boring funny. There dry sense of humour is awesome. Dr Brennen is also brilliant! :)
to me, chuck has more of a story line. HIMYM is the same thing season after season. I enjoyed the first 2 seasons and then its the same thing with different people. Which gets really boring really fast. At least chuck has a different mission every time and the guys that work at the buy more are really funny and I love Agent Casey... he has got a brilliant sense of humour.
Its just my humble opinion. Im not going to force you to watch it :p

I'm really enjoying the Philantropist... Soos in serious. Pretty awesome series.

Overly rich corporate guy going to Borneo and the likes for business - always end up doing hectic humanitarian stuff like a real Indiana Jones.

I watched the new season of Bones last night and was laughing so much I couldnt go to sleep. I just love the dry, undercurrent that flows through that lab! :lmao:

I guess its each to their own and thats why their are so many series out there. My biggest problem is that I start to watch something like House/HIMYM/Legend of the Seeker and then they're say/do something continuously in the show that offends me, and then I go from being offended to irritated and then cannot watch it anymore. See... so I move on! Thanks goodness for options :gyes:

I haven't watched enough of Scrubs to really give an opinion. I watched up to season 3 of HIMYM - I rather enjoyed it. Then again...i even watched that idiotic Flight of the Concords rubbish..urgh, wasted hours of my life.

You know Im a pretty easy going person so this is how it goes in our house.
Punky gets all these series from various Nigerian sources. Then he starts to watch them. I catch about 1 in every 4/5th episode of whatever is on at the time. So Ive seen something of everything. I think the only series I honestly ever sat still long enough to watch more than 1 episode and then continued with the next correct one were the following:
Samantha Who ( I really enjoyed this... very worldly but funny)
Chuck (I think I just enjoyed the warmheartedness of this series. very innocent in some ways and I love how much he adores his big Sister.)
Bones ( Im loving it but I said to Punky last night that I think i see a lot of the underlying, dry humour that maybe other people don't see? I literally sit an laugh through most of the episode. :shrug:
The Unit (I love army stories. Remember Im an old BF2 addict :D )
House (hated an entire season of it.)
My worst week (feel stupid actually admitting that I watch the whole first season and sat through each episode thinking... Who watches this rubbish?? :o )
NCIS/CSI ( Love these shows)
HIMYM ( I really enjoyed the first 3 seasons and couldn't wait to get the next season to watch and then something happened between season 3 and 4 or 2 and 3 because when we received the next lot to watch, I just hated it ... weird I know.)
Fringe (If this is the one with the Dad and Son and the FBI lady, then I really enjoy this one. I always get this one adn the Mentalist confused. But I think the Mentalist is the one with the blonde guy. :meh:

So as you can see, I enjoy almost anything. The only thing I really really reallllly don't enjoy but will watch if I have to is :
Start Trek;Star wars, Legend of the Seeker. Although, I was telling Darnit the other day, the thing I do enjoy about Legend of the Seeker, is that the woman is always saving the guys butt. Its hilarious. :lmao: And although I despise ST and SW I did love Star gate, but that was different!
