Firstly apologies if I’m out of line with the post my fellow beings, but for the last few weeks we have been doing some Heroics to try and gear up and earn those beloved badges for imba gear. We all know what we really want to do is some fun Raids as well. (that’s what the gear is for after all) Im not saying we want to turn into some uber l33t raiding group, but one has to admit, wow isn’t wow without the odd raid, or two.

“so what’s this fool faffing about?” you may ask…We seem to have a few 80’s in the guild now, some old, others new. (grats to the newcomers!!) So, we (I say we because I’m very sure a few people want to), want to plan and schedule a guild run to Naxx 10. We would most likely need the odd pug, but the idea is to get as many of our guildies to participate as possible for much needed experience. The most important or difficult part is scheduling it at a suitable time for as many people as possible. So peoples, I have three times in mind. Dates aren’t decided yet because we have some people doing the studying thing, others getting lost in forests in foreign countries and some just doing the whole socializing thing.

Times are as follow:

Friday evenings - 19:45 (This is the good old traditional time, but I have seen a few drop out due to “unexpected” Friday evening plans)

Saturday afternoons - 14:45 (This time is debatable but purely based on past experiences where I have seen quite a few people online at this time. It’s an hour 45 minutes after normal shopping/working times for most, and should leave evenings fairly open depending on the time spent on a run)

Sunday afternoons - 14:45 (Again, open for debate and scheduled for after the whole shopping/working/cleaning thing. And you will have the time free to watch the Sunday 8pm movie on Mnet.)

All we need now is for you all to put your personal lives aside and say “aye, ‘tis times be purrfect lad” or just “pooh to you dat

time doeseth not suit moi” And recommend what times we use if you’re going to be icky about joining on one of the

abovementioned times. This kind of thing shouldn’t actually even be happening because you all know you love us more than

anything, so 100% attendance is expected. You don’t attend, you don’t receive those prettiful badges. Simple as that folks….

Please get those guildies who do not visit the site, to sign up on the site and earn a nice sweetie from me! :D (Yes I’m doing the

unthinkable by actually sharing my sweeties! Now that’s dedication)

/hugs /lick

Jôno :D

I will gladly help out, I have a healer and a dps.

I also have a tank which needs some gear (actually he needs alot) :)

Afternoons are not that good for me at the moment. Other than that when my life returns to normal from next week, I can tell you what days would be better for me.

Yeah...theres a whole bunch of freshly dinged 80's and some more to come i think...all needing gear and badges. So this naxx run is a great idea.
I'm available most of the time, except now during the exams...gotsta study study :( but if its this weekend i might be able to join.

Ok Jono
You are in charge of raiding, the officers will oversee where necessary.

The last time i invited you guys to raid, you guy told me that you'd rather run a Heroic, Grooly said he'd rather boost Dorm, Leo said he was going to log. 5 People that skipped on an Ulduar run out of the 7 online (Thumpy and I were the other two, and we ended up logging cause we didn't have enough people to go to ulduar). not a mickey mouse run, an ulduar run with some strong Ire boys in there, guaranteed to get us a few upgrades, but the chaps had different plans.

Raiding is not about you, it's about the 9 guys next to you, group composition, knowing the fights, focus and THEN gear. Personally, i raid because i love raid leading and i love talking kak with the boys on TS, and of course the badges and achievements make me happy.

Jono, thank you for volunteering your services.
Here is an example of a booking thread: http://www.wargeeks.org/showthread.php?t=8370
Feel free to ask any of the officers to give you a hand or direction when putting the team together. I will be available to lead the raid if necessary, so we can teach a few more chaps the fights (if i'm not locked on an achievement run already)

Why do i also never see you guys on TS?
I mean, almost the entire Ire clan sit in the beer garden, but you okes are never online - really? you like typing love letters to each other that much?

No boys, more TS, get stuck in there, it's amazing the doors it will open if you come in and start a conversation.

Blinks my post isnt about scheduling a raid but to get the people to tell what times they would actually find better to join in. I did decline the invite to eye of eternity because because it kinda feels really stupid to hop in with half tanking gear and half low level dps gear that i can barely hit 1.5k with. The times i posted was based on "guessimates" so that we can get people to tell when they would be sure that they are online. As for ts, i just managed to get a headset yesterday so i will be on ts more often now. And i was merely thinking gear/Badges for those people still running around with green and blue sub level 200 items. I apologize for the upset.

Jono , we had a poll a little while ago and most people then were up for monday's wednesday's and fridays , raidding for 20:00 hours. If I remember correctly

usually the best way to see if people are interisted is creating a raid run and see who response.

try and make the raid schedule at least 2 days before hand and state that if the team isn't full by x hours before the run , it will be cancelled

Well im not trying to organise a run and not trying to act in charge of anything. Was just trying to find out about times etc. That poll must have been held before i joined the site but i apologize for being out of place. I havent been to all of naxx myself and never lead a raid so it would be epic fail from my side. Im Just trying to encourage the guys a bit to take some action because theres lots of complaining yet those make no effort in doing something to get the ball rolling. Blinks have dragged me and few of the guys along with ire a good couple of times which has helped me to get my tank spec fairly decent i think. but there are a few that have very low level gear so i doubt they would survive long in those raids? as always, im very open for correction and advice as to how to help the other players. Thats all im trying to do after all.

I just know that I am going to regret this.

Naxx 10 booking form will be posted in the WoW thread. I will be Raid Leader. This is going to be a toughie because the majority of peeps will be fresh 80's. Be prepared to wipe, and wipe hard. There will be NO whining. You will be there to learn how to raid and to learn the fights and tactics. You will also learn what happens when something goes wrong and it will.

Thumponius will MT and I would appreciate some of the seniors in the group but hey, if not then no big deal. This will be a /roll run with the emphasis on main spec and who will benefit most from the upgrade. Of course, upgrades only happen once you kill the boss so go and read up. www.tankspot.com has some great videos on the fights.

Research your class and THINK about what you can bring to the group, whether it's a munchie, or a dop, or a blessing of munificent benevolence. Everyone can do something. I am not going to tell you what you should be doing but if you want to drop me a PM then I will gladly offer my advice (Wear Sunscreen!).

If there are not enough peeps by Friday 17h00 GMT then I'll call it and we'll go kill bunnies in Goldshire just so that I can hear Enzo sob because something gets killed on Friday and I'm not particularly fussed about what.

See you therre.

My post wasn't one of sarcasm or maliciousness, i see a person interested in doing something and i want to support him. I am not interested in arranging raids, cause people ignored the last three i tried to get them to go to, but you ARE interested in raiding and having the funzors, so maybe people will respond to you, and if that's the case, then i want to support you - embrace the opportunity!

Ek wil he jy moet daai leiding neem en vir ons almal ietsie mooi en lekker wys! :D Jy het ons almal se odnersteuning!

We did have a poll, but that was to manage 30 different people's schedules. Also, EB has a point, booking should be made way in advance, get on TS and get asking.
I know for example that sunday afternoons are no good for me.
Friday evenings are no good for Blokkies (Leo/Aetha/Sylvanus/Garfuncle)
And so on and so forth.
But we are not a SERIOUS raiding guild, so just one time slot a week should work fine.

Everyone reading this thread who wants to be a future TKCC raider, please share your ideal times with the rest of the group, let's get a middle ground here.

Begin klein kerels, begin klein.

Dorm het moes die ander aan in Guild chat gese hy gaan op 80 fokus op PvP, en dis waarop Alzemash fokus, die PvP - so laat hulle daarop fokus - jy moet die WoW speel wat jy geniet. But let's all try to be team players and support each other and start small.

Lol dankie blinks ek het amper gedink jys die wetter in vir my. Maak my sommer n modder otter kraam en traantjie trek as ek daaraan dink. A once a month raid would be funsies, once a week would be perfect.(We can all giggle at grools' cloth tanking as he blinks away from the nasties). I dont know too much about the others, but even if i wanted to raid every night, my pooper cap wont last it.
