No, Jono will Off-tank this mofo. Jono, oortjies oop en luister vir Thumpy, he is an interesting teacher but you will struggle to find a better one.

I'm going to have to let you know - if planky hits 80, then sure, else i am doing achievement runs with Predikant.

I have already signed up to do a Ulduar run for Friday, but as is the case these days we might not have a strong group. So if it does not take place and you need a healer or dps you can call on me.

Thumponius

Ok, looking good so far. We need some T-Tiffies for the bleeders though.

Hoss
10th November 2009, 06:27 PM
If there is space I'll bring Bosshoss to add some DPS. I will however step down with the greatest of pleasure to let one of our new members get a look at naxx

senorblinky
10th November 2009, 07:28 PM
We need 10 people, i don't think you'd have to step down sir.

Hoss
10th November 2009, 09:56 PM

I can come in my resto form. I had some fun doing that earlier this week, but we did have Sylvanus along who could probably have kept everyone alive all by himself....

Jono

And bellenger (Apie) is a pally healer? all i know about healers are that theyre my friend so i dont know if hes geared enough... :)

Frostbitten
12th November 2009, 11:22 AM
If we can have three healers like we had the other night then I reckon we should be OK, but we do need a heavy hitter (healer) to keep the sh1t together.

Thumponius
12th November 2009, 11:45 AM
I put in for 3 healers so that we can gauge how good/poor they are and what they need (and to compensate for any deficiencies elsewhere). Whether or not it's gear related or experience.

We should know within the first few minutes. If the healing is as up to scratch as the OS run then we can do a quarter or two of Naxx and then maybe pop a VoA 10 if the gods have smiled on us and we actually have Wintergrasp. Or we can do a couple of bosses in Ulduar. I'm going to be pretty flexible about this as it is a bit of a meet and greet and bliksem kinda evening.

How did this run go?

Thumponius
16th November 2009, 01:34 PM
Ok.

Hoss

It went more than okay. My Deadly Boss Mods addon showed me a number of new records for the boss fight durations; so we smacked them pretty hard. The only irritation was the safety dance because a number of us had lag issues but thats something you live with.

Our little guild might not be the biggest and toughest but we are getting better; I think there was only one or two items rolled for (for off spec) otherwise the rest were DE'd.

More importantly it was a jol; nothing rushed, lots of kak praat, watching and praying okes see their bums on Patchwork's slime gauntlet. In fact that may explain why we only cleared two quarters. :D

But I'd rather do runs like that any night (Maybe just other raids next time - EOE; VOA; OS; Ony) than be all serious and progression like.

Im with Hoss on this. It was oodles of fun and i think we did really great on this run. I expected a lot more wipes when i read about the bosses but thumps managed to guide us well and kept his calm with us lot.

We should definitely make a plan for another. Im sure everyone will love to come again. (I know i would) :D

Thanks Thumps. :D

I have to concur with the rest of the peeps. It was lots of fun and even though I died a lot it was so nice running with people that aren't obsessed with performance and just are there to have fun.

Well chaps, i am happy if you are having a blast.
Looking forward to the next one and the laughs!

Thumponius
17th November 2009, 03:27 PM
I think the next one should be an Ulduar. A little more stress but much more opportunity to scrape Alze off the ground. Plenty of giggles to be had.

senorblinky
17th November 2009, 03:36 PM
Agreed Thumper.
Naxx is fine for badge farming - 16 emblems for 2 hours worth of work is not bad.
Bad thse emblems need to be spent to buy the nice 226 (Ulduar 25) gear.

Uldies is a bit more hairy (lol, a BIT!) but the rewards are much better. Nothing wrong with moering the first 4-6 bosses in there, i think it's doable.

Just worried about the lack of healers.

But this is not about being good and going for one night clears, this guild is here to have fun with their game.

Thumps you just enjoyed Tbagging didnt you. ;)

Will be much fun being flung around on the short and curlies by the ulduar bosses. :D

A bonus is we get rewarded with some Badges as mentioned before. So soon as we see those sparkles we forget the pain we endured to get them. (Cue "my preciousssss")
