Unreal tournament freezes and glitches a lot!

So i've had a recon RROD console for about a week now, only game I keep having issues in is unreal.
Glitches like whole game freezes, GFX Freeze but menu etc etc still works, so restart map and keep playing.
Its not your normal console glitch so I'm wondering if anyone else is having similar issues with this game?

Have you tried installing it to the drive to see if that helps?

not yet, i'll try tonight, hope the thing is faulty so i can swap it again
