Does anyone think they'd achieve more thrust if they reduced the diameter of the outlet pipe? i.e. not the diameter of the pipe from the actual bottles but somewhere along the pipe - wouldn't that create more pressure?

I wonder what that is in litres per hundred kms ... ;)

Technically (from my rusty engineering days) thrust actually comes from momentum, not pressure, so I don't think a the pipe diameter would make a big difference. What might work is firstly fixing the leaky seals, reducing the friction loss in those long pipes and maybe doing phased release.

But then again maybe it's better I never really got to play engineer ;)

I think petrol would've been cheaper ;) I wish I had the time to come up with such nonsense :D
