Since I'm faffing about with reputation, if you view your Settings page, you will now see listed the 50 last reputations that you have GIVEN. If you have given / take rep in the last 5 minutes, you will be able to DELETE it (Reppers Remorse, hehe).

BELOW that is your normal reputation RECEIVED list, which is limited to the last 500 reps received. Yeah, probably too much, but some jerk was bugging me about only seeing the last 50. :)

And also new:

More stats on the forum home page: Users with Highest Reputation. Although I may change that description. In fact, I think I will.

---------- Post added at 01:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:32 PM ----------

And another minor change. You should now receive a notification (very top right of page), when you get new rep.

You may or may have not noticed the XBox Leaderboard button on the navbar up top there.

New BBCodes:

Some Location, example: Eastgate Shopping Centre, Gauteng, South Africa

Example:
Eastgate Shopping Centre, Gauteng, South Africa

This should make it easier for people to find places. You can even use the directions stuff by entering the appropriate info between the tags

Example: 43 Bradford Road, Johannesburg 2007, South Africa (Eastgate Shopping Centre) to 175 Rietfontein Road, Boksburg 1459, South Africa (East Rand Mall)

Example:
43 Bradford Road, Johannesburg 2007, South Africa (Eastgate Shopping Centre) to 175 Rietfontein Road, Boksburg 1459, South Africa (East Rand Mall)

And also there is:

Google Saved Map Link - This might be complicated for some people, so it's there for the advanced users.

Use it like so: Go to your saved Google Map (Note, don't use a link from a "live" Google Map, as it won't work, the map MUST be saved), open the map, and at the top right is a "Link" link (Live maps have this too, but the URL is slightly different). Copy the URL into the clipboard, and then paste it between tags, like so:

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?doflg=ptk&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=117114400733474116486.000489c7eeeb79be4ce9a&ll=-26.152202,28.178215&spn=0.106937,0.154324&z=13&iwloc=000489c7eef160b609eeb

Now you must EDIT out the front bit: http://maps.google.com/maps/, leaving the last bit: ms?doflg=ptk&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=117114400733474116486.000489c7eeeb79be4ce9a&ll=-26.152202,28.178215&spn=0.106937,0.154324&z=13&iwloc=000489c7eef160b609eeb

So now your tags look like this:

ms?doflg=ptk&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=117114400733474116486.000489c7eeeb79be4ce9a&ll=-26.152202,28.178215&spn=0.106937,0.154324&z=13&iwloc=000489c7eef160b609eeb

Which produces this:

ms?doflg=ptk&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=117114400733474116486.000489c7eeeb79be4ce9a&ll=-26.152202,28.178215&spn=0.106937,0.154324&z=13&iwloc=000489c7eef160b609eeb

It looks more complicated than it is.
Now, just to fend off the inevitable questions:

Why don't I make it so that you can just paste the whole URL in there?
Two reasons:
a) Security. I don't want just any old URL to be able to be embedded in the site. Imagine a spammer or some other nefarious moron pasting in a link to their site.
b) Practicality. The BBCode parser doesn't like parsing incredibly long strings, and the full URL of a saved maps, just pushes past the limit, so it doesn't work.

So, you're at a mine in the middle of some African jungle? Do you hear the roar of the king of the jungle? Aren't you scared in that fearsome place? Do they have, like, um, er, animals walking in the streets 'n stuff? :p

How freaking awesome are those maps? If you click the 'Earth' tab, it loads up a browser-based Google Earth. (Will need to install a plugin first)

Not sure you could call it a jungle.. Even forest is a bit of a stretch, with the serious desert to the north.
It's also a republic, not a kingdom, so I can't hear the king roaring ;)
For what it's worth, a little south of there is a favorite crossing point for elephants that migrate through the area causing havoc twice a year! :)
That would be something worth seeing - elephants that aren't in a designated conservation zone!

Anyways, I've migrated to Bamako today. Tonight I'll be on the west of the country - on the border with Senegal. Jet setta! ;)

tg the Black theme messes around with the Shoutbox, the date/time stamps are white and blend in.

Yeah, those themes need tweaking.
