@Alluvium: Yes, and often the same abbreviation can mean more than one thing, causing huge confusion. For example, most people takes SS to mean Spiteful Spirit (make people get hurt back if they attack you), but I heard of one guy who thought it was Spinal Shivers (make the enemy feel real cold), so things went very bad for the group.

But in general the abbrev's are quite easy to recognize, since Spinal Shivers would be useless in the context ..

Yes, as that group found out. I think they were trying to farm Sorrow's Furnace where cold damage is in any case fairly useless.

My Necro is ascended and I capped SS. I have all the skills except for desecrate enchantments, which can only be found on Ring of Fire. Is it realy needed?
