It only offers 16 player maps tho.

Not sure if you can do bigger with the dedicated server (probably).

You can have the place swarming with bots - did it this evening - 48 bots

me humbly requests Albereth tell us how to do that.

I started up BF2, went to Multiplayer and chose Create Local. I then change the game mode - it starts on Conquest - and select Co Op. The little panel above this changes to add the bot management options - and your maps all change to 16 player. You can allow the number of players you want - I chose 2 because it was just Cullen Doom and I. I also left the bots at 48 and changed their ability to 100.

Start Server

Join Game.

There doesn't seem to be any hassle with the side you want to be on and you can't join squads with the bots - it might have been useful for mobile spawn points because I couldn't think of anything to talk to them about.

TG. Dedicated server only allows 16 palyer maps as well. Don't know why they did that. It's very annoying. :grr:

Hmm. I could join bot squads - you're immediately offered SL position, ala single player.

What I *do* find interesting though - is that if you're a SL, you keep getting all these commander commands - yet there's no commander. Go figure.
