...now
If I load Factions does it nuke Prophecies?

If it doesnt, do I get four more character opportunities or am I limited to four only?

I asks because I have been playing GW:P for a bit and my first character is nearing level 20. Now I have was having some ideas for the next one when it occured to me that if I loaded GW:F then those character classes might be available to me in GW:P. Is this true?

:)

Ok,

This is how i choose to explain it.
If you loaded them as seperate games, shame you will not be able to move between the 2 places. However you will have 8 character slots.

If you loaded them(merge'd) you will only have 6 slots, BUT you will be able to move from one to the other.

If i were to say the best course of action there would have been to merge the accounts.
However I do not know if this is a option if you already got them bot active.
Infact I recall there being something said that this is not posible after the fact.

Let me know how you installed it.

ALl char classes are available in factions, they jst look a bit different, and loading factions will definitely NOT nuke ur prophecies chars.

U hagve a choice of keeping ur prophecies and ffactions chars seperate OR merging them and then u get 2 more char slots...

I hope I'm helping and not making it worserer...

OK I have loaded and played GW:P but GW:F still resides in its box complete with plastic shrinkwrap. (I know thats almost unthinkable and completely uncivilized) .... So this merging thing is an option when you install GW:F?

It is the last question you are asked when adding the key

On the login screen, there is an option to add a key. Then just select "Add to existing account" and type in the key from the plastic card in your Factions box and all should be fine. For your existing character(s) you then get a quest in Lion's Arch which take you to the factions continent if you want to go there.

Ah simple as that hey...thanks guys. I will install factions before I build my next char. :)

You don't need to "install" factions per se - you just need to add the key to your account, and voila, you have access. ;) That's what those 10Tb worth of downloads over the past little while have been about. :D

The disks might have helped a little bit.

I think some stuff do get installed that wasnt streamed. The size of my GW.DAT file increased significantly after I installed Factions from CD.

I think that those major downloads was just for the portion of factions that has been part of the preview, unless you have already entered the pre-order key for factions, or a factions key.

There are always updates streamed to your PC. ...
