Can some uber expert please give me some help, even though I don't belong to a squad BF2 won't let me join unlocked squads ... even if I'm invited? This seems to be the case since I upgraded to 1.3

I believe I have experienced the same bug ,ALL THE TIME!!!, if I do manage to get into a squad and then decide to leave..thats it, I need to reload the game before I'm allowed into a squad again....

And this is NOT the new "feature" where the SL needs to die before u can spawn on him, tried to time my clicking with SL's death/ respawn...no workie...

Have you tried spawning, then joining the squad while alive? Some times it won't let me switch squads while I'm dead. then just spawn before you switch. helps?

Yep, I carry on playin the game...die, respawn multiple times...cant join ANY squad.....

Well thats my scenario, dont wanna take over the thread from $abre :P

its a bug that happens .. usually to one of the teams.... doesnt dissapear until server is reset.

sometimes u can get out of it by going commander

There seems to be another bug, don't know if it's client or with my installation that you cannot create new squads? Anyone else hitting this issue?

Wait a short while and you'll be able to do it. There could be some timing issues being resolved while the game shorts out who is who in the zoo.

I have not had the new cannot join squad bug for a while now.
It goes hand in hand with the cannot create a squad bug.

/methinks somebody is buggering wif da server settings.

It's the new 'treason' switch - if you leave your squad you're excommunicate and outcast!

OK I'm no closer to a solution here, should I re-install or leave a snotty message on SGS for the admins?

If you play single player can you join a squad ?
If not, then reinstall.
