I'm 31 and I could hear it. (Not that I listened to your particular link, I listened to the one on the site that markets it.)

28, I can hear it without problems. And a few years ago an ear specialist in Germany tried to talk me into a hearing aid because my left ear was 'down to 50% capacity' I hear better than my wife :D

I played it through me earphones and the noise I heard hurt my ears.
I played it through the speakers and heard nothing, but the other peeps in the office of varying age heard nothing either.

Checked there, and my threshold is somewhere above 22000khz. Could hear that one fine, but at 23000khz I hear nothing.

Interesting. The freqs above 20k are all WAV files - I can't hear a damn thing - but they're at 96khz instead of 48khz, so I think for some reason my card is just not playing them.
Interestingly, if I use Audacity and generate a 22000hz tone at 44.1khz, I can hear it just fine.

Weird. I re-opened the files in audacity, and now they all play (and I can hear them) up to 23000.
If I change 24000 to 48khz, then I can hear it, but at 96khz, nope.
Interestingly, I can hear 25000 no problems - no need to set the sample rate any lower than 96khz.
*shrug*
In other words - I can hear all those frequencies quite clearly - so can my wife.

People at my school have these things on their cellphones and are pissing everyone off by playing them and thinking they're 'funny' or 'cool'
It's unbelievably retarded.
