Saw this last night. Very dark and grown up. Brilliantly filmed and some of the chase scenes are very vivid. Can't wait for #2.

Do I need to watch from #3 onwards to enjoy this one? I've only seen the first two (The first being in German. :o)

You might be a little lost not knowing what happens, but I must admit a big disappointment the only reason why they made two parts was money, money, money.

I feel it was slow in some parts and not the best one, to be honest I have never really gotten into the whole Harry Potter thing anyway. But never the less I will watch the last one in June. I just knew they would preset the film the way they did. I am sure there are a lot of you who will disagree but I really do not care. Especially when one of the stars recently admitted she did not know how much money she had and was disgusted by it. Give me a break, is she that stupid?

If you haven't read the books or seen the movies you will be hopelessly lost.

Have to agree with TW. it was tooooo slooooow, they could have gone for one final movie of 3 hours and make it a cracker, instead they decided to milk the franchise

I enjoyed it, but if I knew it would just end the way it did, I would have waited for part 2 and watched them both the same day. (1st one I would watch at home or something) I hate waiting.

Thing is - I thought it was fairly close to the book - that had CHAPTERS of almost nothing happening! :D

I quite enjoyed it - thinking of what is to come (book-wise) I think they would be VERY pressed for time in order to fit it in within 3 hours without throwing away a fair bit.

Oh, and apparently part 2 will be out in June or so?

That's 7 months...The Jono does not like waiting months for a sequel. By that time I've forgotten what happened in the previous film. :o
