A working mother puts herself through law school in an effort to represent her brother, who has been wrongfully convicted of murder and has exhausted his chances to appeal his conviction through public defenders.
This is a true story with Hillary Swank & Sam Rockwell as siblings. I don't particularly like Hillary Swank because she has more teeth then usual for an American, but she touched me in this movie with her performance. Sam Rockwell puts in a brilliant performance too.
This movie highlights how easy it is to wrongly convict a man, especially with nefarious forces at work.
