hows it set up.
i have a hd pvr2 and it does have xtra view enabled, i just havent bothered to hook anything up to it cause i'm sure i wont be able to watch the recordings with it

I saw a diagram on the net which shows RF-IN (makes no sense whatsoever) on both decoders connected to a T-piece, which is then connected to a 2nd TV. I haven't managed to get it right yet because nothing is connected to RF-IN on the primary decoder but the heartbeat is picking up on RF-IN on the secondary decoder (even more ). BUT, apparently it can be done, as Apple has done it, so I shall persist.

okay, according to the schematic you should simply have the heart beat from RF out to RF out, the add a tee, taking the one tee point of the RF line to the rf input on the 2nd TV.
Job done
