    I'm running a 550W Coolermaster on my system. i7 2600k (LGA1155), Radeon 5770, 4 HDDs, sound card also has a power plug.
It is not the responsibility of a defender to leave the objective unguarded just so his opponent sucks less.

I am also not convinced your problem is the power supply. It is a possibility, but I do not think is is the most likely one if you only have issues after 20 minutes.

Not true - after about 20 minutes he is probably starting to use his graphics cards and that when it draws more power and kicks its fan in.

With pleasure if it can be arranged on the weekend. You'll need to send me an address. I'm not meeting you at the toilets at Addington paddling pools again

If you're going through hell, keep moving.

I went and bought a Corsair GS700 PSU and a Corsair H60 hydro cooler. Will test tonight.

You are a man of excess!
I would have skipped the h60 and gone for the 560ti rather than 560 but that is just me.

I would still have cooling and power issues to deal with if I had gotten the 560ti.

I told Skari to rather get a 560Ti, or the 6950, but no, he's broke.

Cooling was never your issue. nVidia's can run at above 100º's C and still function perfectly fine. Not forever, but long enough. My GTX 285 topped out at 93º C the night before last. It doesn't help that I have 6 HDD's in my system, or a Q9300. It still runs fine. At sub 70º your biggest concern was your PSU. I cleaned my fans off & I'm running in the 70º's C now. Granted, I could do with more cooling, but if it was really an issue - I'd fix it.

Upgrade early next year when the new Sandybridge performance processors hit the street, and then I'll kiss my baby goodbye.

Stupid BF3 Sig is wrong coz I obviously travel a couple of weeks ahead of electrons.
