BF3 Bandwidth Consumption

Since going on 3G, I have become very concerned about bandwidth usage. I use my BB with BIS only to browse the web and check emails - apparently you don't incur any data charges if you use only the BIS & not the carrier services. So far so good.

I am amazed at how little BF3 uses in terms of bandwidth. Running Mumble alongside BF3 rockets my bandwidth consumption so I'll probably only be doing that on Thursdays until I can find a more permanent solution to my connectivity woes.

I thought you guys might be interested in what BF3 consumed for almost 5.5 hours of BF3, last night, so see attached. Seriously impressive, +/- 200MB for 5.5 hours.

That is quite impressive ! When you install mumble there is an option to set how much bandwidth it must use, and one can probably set that somewhere - maybe look at changing that setting to use minimal bandwidth ?

The low setting makes you sound funny... or maybe TG was jerking my chain. He could have been jerking my chain.
