    Default Physx with 2nd GPU

For those of you who are upgrading, or have upgraded, and you have kept/are keeping your old nVidia GPU, you might want to consider using your old Physx-enabled GPU to do the Physx processing, while your shiny new nVidia GPu does all the other work. Apparently it results in significant improvements in performance. You can choose your Physx processor in your nVidia control panel.

I just thought I'd mention it since I know a few of you have recently upgraded to newer nVidia GPU's and probably still have your old nVidia GPU lying around gathering dust.

Most of them probably don't have boards with more than one 16x PCIe port.

Has nVidia removed the "feature" that disables the nVidia card when it detects an ATI card in the system?

Apparently there are hack drivers to be able to use an ATI card as your primary and an nVidia as your Physx card, the official nVidia stance is that it can't be done.

Here is a link: http://www.ngohq.com/graphic-cards/1...3-v1-04ff.html - (Using ATI as main, nVidia 8xxx series and up as Physx)

    Also, you don't need PCI-E X16 for Physx - X8/X4 is fine.

I wouldn't hold out too much for THAT hack. Seems to me like you're just being a greedy bastage.

Does BF3 use physx processing ?

Edit: Nvm, it doesn't. oh well.

hmm it uses CPU physic's, which can explain the high CPU usage
