I haven't been to movies for about 2 months... not really sure why not.. Busy, sick, tired, nothing on etc etc etc...

Loved it. Unfortunately it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, since a third part is to come. But I thought it was very well-made and had an interesting story. The make-up and effects crew did a particularly good job. Both orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley have improved in their acting (only Keira's accent still kills me). I can't wait for the third one.

good movie overall, just the ending is sudden.

i enjoyed the kraken fighting, nothing like the smell of well cooked calamari.

Not as good as the first one. I was a bit disappointed, in fact.

The same thing happened to me with the Matrix sequels. Loved the first one to death, second one was "darker" (not fun) but not as good the first, and the last one sucked.

That being said, it is not a bad movie I just dont know why they wanted to make the movie darker than the fun and adventurous first one.
