    Default Caps?

    Do u guys have ADSL caps like i have a 3 gb cap per month and when i go over 3gb of data sent and recieved i get capped and get given fokol internet!!! and i noticed that bf2 takes up a hell of a lot of my cap, a lot more than css did like i cant play as much as i want because ill get capped to quikly and with css i could play a lot more because it used much less of my cap...im not saying watsoever that css is better than bf2 but it used less of my cap and i get pretty much exactly the same ping/lattency in both games and does one know how to make it use less ???? i know its poorly worded, im tired and if u dont understand any of it just ask me...

    Bambi, BF2 uses between 30-40mb per hour for a 48 player map, even more for a 64 player map. BF2 eats a 3gb cap veeery quicly, depending on how often you play. I only can play in the evenings and don't download huge demos etc, so 3gb is enuf for me..although this month i had to buy a 1 gb booster to make it through the month.

    No way to really make it use less, it is a bandwidth hog

    I have a Telkomsa 3GB account, but with their 'new' policy you can apparently safely go to 10GB without being capped. Talk to Sosaman about it, he is from the inside I went to 5.4 Gigs last month.
    It is not the responsibility of a defender to leave the objective unguarded just so his opponent sucks less.

    anybody want to share a telkom account, i'm gonna use it purely for bf2 usage!
    and if it dies... then use my other account for the rest of the month

    4 ppl... R80 each...




    I usually downshift when I'm near a Prius so they can hear me hurting the environment

    Make sure you've selected a 256 instead of a T1/LAN in options ... main screen.
    If you're in a squad that is babbling ... leave them ... they're chowing bandwidth using VIOP.

    Other than that ... make sure nuffink else is running and eating your bandwidth.

    I thought you we talking about getting |WrG| caps, as in hats. Actually soudned like a great idea I vote Dark Blue with Grey Logo . . .
