Purple hearts

I think I am officaly the worst player in the world, In strike on Karkand today we were playing a really intense game, (game ended 1-0 to us). I scored okay in the map, but was playing AT, so was decent cannon fodder for enemy APC`s and tanks.

I got my 3rd purple heart. Do I have a record here or something? I seem to have got dying down so well, theyre giving me medals for it.

yeah the first award i got was a purple heart, if was one of my sweetest battle feild moments i ran into an arty strike to de-fib some one, got them up again, and got nailed by arty, (the revived dude lived) ...

and the whole "you have been awarded a purple" and a pic popped up , and i was like, shit the award bravery and things , wow cool game...

then i found out its a bad medal ...

Heh... Pruple Heart was my first medal as well, and I think I got it in the first or second game I played... But I know of no more than two Purples in total on my stats...

Ive got a few of those, i dont think its a really bad bad medal though, you have to score a certain , "dying" score, and the only way you get it is by giving a losing case all you can. Being spawnraped wont get you one but being cannon fodde and getting a kill every now and then that gets you one,lol.

Moral of the story "Die and kill a lot"

Hmmm - purple heart isn't good - have to have a K : D ratio of 1:4 with a minimum of 5 kills / 20 deaths in a round

Just as well they only show your FIRST purple heart on the stats.

In reality, I have around 8.

lol i dont actually have one and for me ill have to work really hard to actually get one and im actually quite proud that i dont have one lol

Hehe... None so far, but seeing as I collect ribbons/medals/badges and so on I may just try really hard to get one :P just kidding... :P
