Xbox 360 as a Media Centre

Hi guys.. I purchases a oh so pretty Xbox 360 and now i have been trying to set it up with my PC so I can stream my movies to the TV...

there are a couple of software programs like TVersity but i have not been able to get it to work.

I also know that it can only stream wmv file !!! (+ 1 FTL MS!!!!) but u are able to get decoders that stream on the fly ! again not been able to set this up any advice would be greatly appreciated !!!

Welcome to the family man.

First up what version of windows you using. By default the 360 can only stream music/pics from a xp machine.
Win media centre edition can do the movies as well.

Let me know what os and we can take it from there. Apparently with MP 11 you can stream via xp but I have not tried as of yet so I can't help with that sorry.
