Default local Gears of War tourney

    Ola!

So who's up to compete in a local GoW tournament?

    http://txl.co.za/gow/

It's a bit slow going getting underway, but with 9 Xboxen in the clan I'm sure we can put together a competitive team.

I'm in already, who else is keen?

Argh. Well, as evidenced last night I'm a complete moron when it comes to GoW at the moment.
I think of all the games we played, I got about 2 kills, max.

    Give me time... tiiiiiimmme.....

Hey, I thought you did admirably

Just play through the single player a bit and you'll get used to the controls and the whole "stop and pop" thing.

. . . and as you said - set controller sensitivity to high. (also check the "brightness" settings - I usually have mine on vivid or lucid otherwise it's a bit too dark on my SDTV)

We could always use TG as the decoy against the enemy.... I am eager to join if the schedule is up to scratch with my available time.

heh heh, but that's usually my job!

I'll ask cold fusion if we can field a proper "clan" team, ie WrG will always have a team of 4 available to play, but it might not always be the same team.
