Default Nvidia 6200 128mb AGP card and BF2

Does anyone know if this card should or should not work with BF2? I went and bought it for my girlfriend so she could play BF2, she said she did the install today of BF2, but when the game loads up, the splash screen appears then the whole game just shuts down.

Is this just BF2 been BF2, or is this graphics card not going to work?

It should work by all means. Test it in some other games as well.

Problem with the 6200 AGP versions is that the memory bus is always limited to 64 bit.
It is not the responsibility of a defender to leave the objective unguarded just so his opponent sucks less.

I've got a 6200 PCIe in my work machine - works like a bomb. It can run at my native LCD panel res 1280x1024 w/ custom settings - most high, some medium.
    Game runs very nicely (1.2).

Interesting, what CPU? I'm running a 6600 at 1280x1024 and struggle to run at anything higher than LOW, but with a view distance set to 95%

    One other thing - I see you use a view distance < 100 Doobi ... Why ???

As I understand, you should ALWAYS set this to 100 ...
