Flying a helicopter

Hi pilots,

Please could someone explain to me how to hover a helicopter. I can take off (just) and fly (barely), but hovering has me beat.

I am flying with mouse and kboard as my Logitech joystick doesn't like BF2.

why oh why cant the BH have autopilot to takes us from preset waypoints?

but i play that already amoungst a few other like blackhawk up side down and saints flying black hawks dooomed to go down and loook there a black hawk coming down on us saint must be flying

If you hover, you just need to tap it now n then to maintain your height.

... otherwise you settle neatly and gently on the ground, an obliging Spec ops will then C4 your chopper and wait for you to fly away before *click*...
