World of Warcraft?

May have been misinformed, but I believe WoW is hitting our shelves this month. Anyone tried it?

Yup played it on a lan server and it rocks!!!But i dont think there is a local online server.

Um... There actually *Is* a local server... However, I do NOT reccommend it at all as it sounds a bit dodgy... ie, only half the game there etc.. no pets n stuff..

there are actually 2 local servers as far as i know but the one aparently doesnt work and the other one isnt that great as far as i know. niether of them are official and i have to idea how to connect to them and i have to say that i dont think that there will ever be official local servers

the official release in SA will work with either US or EU servers, no local servers planned by Blizzard.

I guess in Dollars...or possibly Euros....not always a bad thing with the Rand being so strong,

yeah, the monthly sub is $15 but when you buy the game you have 1 month of free play. $15=R90 which isnt too bad for such a big game.

Be advised though that its best you team up with SA guilds which can be found on the prophey or My ADSL forums as loneranger play gets tedious after a while.
