So guess what this thread is for no no no stokie not for storing your rather large fishies in. so i tried to trade some stuff on the market namely iron which i seem to build up a but of from time to time, but away, yes made an offer in the market place of 500 iron for 500 food and clicked okay then noticed that the iron was not showing in my stores and i had not got any food for it so freaked out i click franticley on the village and then market place to see what is going on and there i saw my offer sitting there.

so i was thinking if you have 3 or 4 mechants and need to hide some resources say till tomorrow morning when you get up again this could be an option. now here is what i would like to know what would come of that if i were to be raided any who ...

oh yes dont make the offer ressonable be crazy and offer like 1000 iron for 3000 wood, this way noone will be accepting and if they do SCORE

I do not think you can hide resources that way. Offers get canceled when you are attacked, according to Stool.

yeah i was suprised, also thought along saint's lines but in my case i just did an offer for 300 iron (all my iron). my cranny is at 1000 and to my suprise i saw an attack incomming in 8min so i thought i'd wait it out and see if any catapults commin my way cos all my resources clearly safe.
attack came n gone and then i decided to go see if my offer has been accepted yet, only to notice i got 300 iron again and no offers and no merchants on the move,....

now i cant say wether offer gets reset before or after attack since my cranny covered it all, but it definitely gets reset
