Default So just how does it work?

Friday night - I see the other guy - I assume he sees me. He drops to the ground, he rolls - half way though his roll I am dead.

Sunday night - I see the other guy - He sees me. He drops to the ground, I am dead.

Don't they need to shoot? Am I lagging so badly that I am already dead before I've actually seen them and my computer is only now catching up?

How do they aim so well while rolling and dropping?

Yup ... i've watched that in action like plenty of times, with me on the recieving and verry dead end, and then i tried it myself and it works like a charm.

    Procedure:
    1 : spot person
    2 : press z
3 : on ground go left or right
4 : shoot peep in head

This whole procedure is just there to give your accuracy time to catchup with you so that step 4 is an accurate head shot and deadly.

The difficulty is intense trying to keep the crosshair on the target while going left or right while prone.

What I did notice is that once you are on the ground your target seems to forget that they should also be moving left or right, or they also go prone and then you win on the accuracy stakes as you were prone first.

LAG ... yup ... the peep rolling around on the ground is actually somewhere to the left or right of where you are shooting, but the game does adjust for that, and he does get hit. The thing is that his one accurate shot is death to you, compared to your 9 or 10 inaccurate shots.

Rule 1 : Accuracy requires time, and the most accurate shooter in a 1 on 1 fight will win.
Rule 2 : People in first and second place on their team scores have a game given advantage over people with lesser scores.

So ... inbetween all these factors, you're dead.

Hmmm - why do the point 3 Stoke ??? I didn't quite get what you meant by letting your accuracy catch up to you ... ?

The whole problem is that the support gun (the unlocked one) is really vicious now, so 1 ! shot in the head will kill you !!!!

I have lost count of how many times I pump my DAO into the guy, hear two brief shots from his gun, and BAM - down !

I am so ved up with the one shot kill crap. Yesturady fir a change i had revenge, i was on the delivering end of the one shotters.
What did i do diffrent. NOTHING.
Who knows, lag, crap video presponse, rolling around in the dust, PKM warmed up, G36E oiled. No idea, me thinks the game chooses a lucky one.

However i will bet on it that the quys with the superior asshole scores, they are the one with the superior systems, SLI graphics setups and all the bells and whisles. Response time makes all the diference

And there is also a difference between 30fps and 100fps.
It is not the responsibility of a defender to leave the objective unguarded just so his opponent sucks less.

Rolling is an illusion ... if you are moving left or right with momentum cos you dived to the ground from a run BF will animate a roll for you.

Point 3 is to prevent your target from killing you while you line up your sights.

The accuracy system ... when you run your crosshairs spread apart ... this means your accuracy is gone to sheet.
When you stop running they slowly come together again ... this is what I meant with my cryptic "waiting for your accuracy to catch up to you".

So ... while in a prone position shifting left or right you aim for the head, but wait for the crosshairs to come together and only then shoot. It does not take long.

Point to make here: You don't see the rolling action from you perspective. When you roll the other peeps see it but your screen view doesn't do the 360. So you may have been rolling all along only you don't know your doing it.
