    Default Server Upgrade

I am going to run an OS upgrade on the server tonight. This is unfortunately a matter of urgency, so sorry about the short notice. There might be a bit of downtime, but I'll try to keep it to a minimum.

Do what you have to Rainers, understandably you have to consider the long run, and a shot inconvenience for us will only save you a large inconvenience later.
Thanks for the warning, i believe it's ample.

    preventative maintenance > restorative maintenance

    *basically, what Blinky said*

OK, that went rather smoothly. Looks like everything is still alive.

No, just upgrading the software to the latest patch levels. When I am in Germany I am going to run a dist-upgrade from sarge to etch.

Nice Captain Rains! Didn't even notice it was down last night.
I wish the WoW maintenance people were as efficient as you
