    Post Lord of War

This movie is apparently based on fact. It is the story of Yuri Orlov (Nicholas Cage), and how he becomes a gun runner, and what happens to him.

A couple of people I spoke to raved about it. I honestly don't see why. It's a narrated drama, where the protagonist relates the story of his life. I don't really know what to say about it, other than "blah". I hired it, I watched it, I returned it.

To be fair, I probably wasn't in the right mood to watch this movie.

    I class it as: Drama

    Rating: 4/10

    IMDB
    [ I got 99 quests and a main ain't one ]

I thought it was pretty good.. Quite funny at times, quite greusome at others (the opening scene shows the life of a bullet, from manufacture etc, and eventually into the middle of some kid's head)

i found it to be an above average movie coz it does shed some light to the actual non-stop fighting which ravaged that specific region of Western Africa all for the greed of diamonds and other natural resources being sought after at the expense of human life.

I just rented the DVD and I thought it was good. Especially the twist at the end, where the narrator reveals who the actual and biggest arms dealers are. And I loved the opening sequence which is shown from the perspective of a bullet. This is something I will buy.
It is not the responsibility of a defender to leave the objective unguarded just so his opponent sucks less.

Saw the movie quite a while back. Thought it was quite good from the point of view of what is really going on out there in deep, darkest Afrika.
I wonder if Nicolas Cage ate a lot of beetroot when he was there

Liked the opening scene of 'life of a bullet' too.

Who has watched 'The Lake House'? either with your wife/girlfriend or alone.
    Titan and I enjoyed it!
