What are/have you doing/done for Christmas lunch/dinner?

I usually make the traditional Christmas turkey for lunch. Have done it for the past few years now.

This year, my (oldest) brother and his girlfriend are joining us for lunch.

For a slightly different approach, I'm doing a glazed gammon as well as ye olde traditional stuffed turkey.

I usually prepare the turkey with it covered in strips of smoked bacon. Makes it nice and juicy as well as giving it quite an interesting smokey flavour. I usually do different stuffings every year. This year I'm going to make something with cashews and bacon for stuffing.

I also like to serve a version of cranberry sauce with the turkey (as well as gravy made from the turkey dripping) - cranberry sauce consists of a can of goldcrest cranberry jelly (which can be a real bitch to find), some red wine, sugar, and a few herbs / spices, depending on my mood. Simmer together for a bit, allow to cool before serving - tho warm is also ok.

got back from Richards Bay today and went out with my folks and my wife to an Indian Restaurant.... good meal... good company... hot food...

now i am writing this while my wife watches Animal Planet, my sis went clubbing and my folks hit the bed... dont know if any WrG people are online on BF2.
