    Default New guild name

Hey all... so those of us left surviving and still able to stand after all of this need to call ourselves something. Whats it going to be... how about we get a bunch of suggestions posted here and then vote on it.

My recommendation is "Carpe Carpum" ... Latin for "Seize the fish".

I also vote we discuss a constitution for our guild so we dont lose everything again and try not repeat the past.

    Lets have those suggestions!

    Shotgun first post.

I would prefer this to be a non-serious guild where friends hang out, get drunk and talk about the fun we had over the weekend. For more seriaas play the other guild is your best option. Though, thats just my opinion.

I kinda like Warsong Rebel Guard - I think it was hossy's idea. I cant remember who posted it. Whoever it was - Its kief! It sounds like a guild of extreme poonage. So thats my vote.

As for the seriousness of the guild, i think lets leave that to individuals or groups of people within it. I like to play the game at my own pace. I also love raiding and all the challenges that have come with it. The game really took a good turn for me when i started being included into raids. I got gear, i understood rotation and i learnt about proper team work. I think a balance is what is needed and everyone just respecting everyone else's particular play style. For example:

If you are a hardcore player "WELCOME TO OUR NEW GUILD, WE LOVE YOU!"
If you are a non serious player "WELCOME TO OUR NEW GUILD, WE LOVE YOU!"

This is just my opinion. Use it, dont use it.

Thank for taking the lead on this one Wizzie.

Erm, i have a couple of suggestion, but i don't feel particularly emotional about any of them - we are about the fun and we are all laid back and rustig and leveling here and raiding there, there's no pressure there, so i thought the name should at least be a bit fun.

"Semper in excretum est sed alta variat"
    "The Orphans of Azeroth"
    "The Drunken Stupors"
    "Hungover"
    "Fallen Might"
"The Horde" (and them we make a horde guild and name it "The Alliance" ... just me? ok... )
"Illegitimate Sons of Hodir" (this is my favourite, probably because i thunked it up myself )
"The Ankle biters" (If we were all gnomes)
"Gnome Fury" (If we were all gnomes)
"Gnomeland security" (If we were all gnomes)
    "Sonskyn en Rose"
    "Redemption"
    "The Booty Bay Connection"
    "Fragile"
    "Front towards enemy"
"Happy Tree friends" (If we were all night elves)
    "Friends"
    "Still Standing"
    "Bunny Huggers"
    "Preventers of the Cataclysm"
    "Survivors of the First Cataclysm"
    "Search Party"

I dunno, i'll keep thinking, i like some of these names, but perhaps they spark something in you guys

Thanks Mugsy - it was actually Vudu that suggested Warsong Rebel Guard (W R G )

LOL @ <AFK>. We are roleplaying that we arent really playing? I can just imagine the ambush fun at South Shore. A little noob horde will be attracted to it like a moth to a flame!

I do believe that the Warsong Rebel Guard first originated in the fertile manure patch of Ga55ie's peanut. It was the time that TG got reported for Haxx the WarGeeks guild name.

lol, what a way of expressing yourself, Ga55ie's fertile peanut, classic.

Anyhoozer, i like Hoss's suggestion of something in afrikaans. But it's very close to dutch, so we need to be creative like that.

AFK and DND are excellent suggestions, stuff i would vote for but it won't fly on an RP realm unfortunately.

    Some more ideas:
"Hartebeespoort dam is 'n lekker dam"
    "Kinders by dosyne"
"Jou Lang Antie se gat man"
    "Ustica" Pronounced: "USE-tah-ka"
Usage: "Can you dance? We'll I Ustica... Gimme a minute and i might could again!" ( oh, i've lost it now)
    "Widgadidga" Pronounced: "Wuh-dja-duh-dja"
Usage: "You didn't bring your truck widgadidga?"

    oh noes...
