WrG is going to publicly admit that we participate in that Steam game that has no name and that shall not be named and that we used to criticise as ghei while we were big into BF2? cause if not, then getting added to the steam friends group and revealing my steam name will probably be counter productive to making my image more macho....

Seems my account has been deleted. I wanna know to what extent. At the moment I cant effect any password retrieval since steam has no record of "stoolza" or my email address.

This seriously puts me off Steam.

Question: If I reinstall my OS do I need to download everything again or is there a Steam folder I can just copy across?

No, for eg, I have steam installed into d:\Games\Steam.
Whenever I reload, I just format the C: drive, and re-install the steam.msi, pointing it to D:\Games\Steam and it picks everything up. I think all you need to copy is the SteamApps folder under your steam install dir. Or just copy the entire Steam install folder.

Fwiw as well.. steam has a decent backup system where you can backup entire games onto CD or DVD archives. It will create the necessary files for you, and you just write them to a disc. Then you can restore at leisure.
So for eg, games I haven't played for awhile, but want to delete for disk space, I just use the backup function, create archives, write them to DVD, and then delete the games from the games list.

The event list shows you joined the War Geeks group. It also shows that you own Commandos 2: Men of Courage.
