Favourite Servers

Use Notepad to open:

Vista/Win7
C:\Users\%YOURUSER%\Documents\BFBC2\GameSettings.i ni

XP
C:\Documents and Settings\%YOURUSER%\My Documents\BFBC2\GameSettings.ini

This list may LOOK funky with all this extra mumbo Jumbo, but we've tested it and it IS required(each server has some random string of numbers n letters associated with it):

Scroll down the Gamesettings.ini and find
"FavoriteGames="
Now replace the whole line with:

Not all of them work for me

Only 2 SGS servers are visible to me, the rest are greyed out. All the iGame servers are visible.

Probably has to do with the flags on the server browser, though I don't see why it should affect your favourites.

We also saw that last night - in the favourites the servers are greyed out, but in the full server browser (if you search for SGS) they are there ...

Hmmm - thinking about it - let me rather remove them completely and start from scratch - if might make a difference ..

OK - removed all favourites, and then added the SGS ones first, iGames ones second. All the SGS ones are fine, but the iGames ones are all greyed out ...

There was only 1 sgs server running last night. They are greyed out if the server is down. iGame have theirs up but SGS are having a problem atm.

Ok it seems only the first 6 servers in the favourites list get refreshed. The rest are greyed out. If you shuffle the entries in the file around, then the others show up.
Stupid bug.

And the in-game server browser is freaking useless! Takes forever to do anything!

I agree with TG that only the first 6 servers in the favourite list is usable.

TG, once u get used to the server browser and once u learn that the cancel button is your'e friend, it's actually quite usable
