Default SHEESH - more help PLZ

What i love about GW is that you can spend more time on this than to get your helicopters licence and still feel like a noob! (not that I can fly a helicopter)

QUESTION: What is the best way to get some prophecy green items - nice ones for warrior and could anyone help me??? (Pref the darkness)

If that involves the PvP stuff that is fine but please explain coz I am new to it - I only PvP'ed once and Pios kicked my bum royaly

QUESTION: For the PvP stuff is it better to start a new character or use the ones I have - I only have one lev 20 and he is pretty good now - when i say pretty good I mean I don't die too quickly in the main missions lol

QUESTION: Do you have to finish the primary game to "unlock" anything? If my objective is to get some cool green stuff etc I have got some decent elite skills but have only got as far as ring of fire....

    Anyones help would be APPRECIATED!!!

Green items are dropped by certain monsters. The monsters are not on the normal mission path (for Prophecies at least). Paragon linked to the information on where to get them. Another good source of information is:
    http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Index_of_unique_item_lists

Note, for people who are wondering, green weapons are just weapons with fixed stats. In prophesies these stats are always the maximum available in the game for the respective weapons, so it is less of a gamble than gold and purple items. Beware that there are non-max stat weapons in factions, so check before you buy. I got about a third of my green items myself. the others I bought from other players.

I am no expert on PvP, but I would say both. Probably best to play characters you know. For example creating a mesmer, when you have never played one before, will get you killed lot in the beginning. Also, you may need to change some skills, since fighting people is always different from fighting monsters.

You do not unlock anything, except the ability to do the Titan quests "The Protect blah ones" which you often see people creating a party for in the major cities. If you want to see what one of the quests look like, you can in any case just join a group doing one. If you do not have the quests, it will not be marked as done for you, but otherwise it is still the same. Protect Droknars is the first and easiest of these quests.

Ascending is what unlocks the most stuff in prophesies.

THANKS peeps - this helps a lot
    ONE more question

    It says:
These are the final bosses of the Ruins of the Tomb of the Primeval Kings. There are three in total. Each of them drops a few of the Hall of Heroes unique items.

Is this part of the main mission - will i get there if I keep going or how do I get there???

After you have ascended, you end up at the starting point for the Glint Dragon Lair mission. From that area, there is a doorway that goes to the starting area of the Tombs.

Holy Smokes - I see why green items are so expensive

This is not easy. I am definitely up for forming a group and will need help + someone who's been there - gkm reckons it can take much more than an hour to get to the area where they drop the green stuff!!!

DID somone say they solo'ed this - as in got green stuff by themselves - how is that possible??????????????????????????
