Dear Z87 or 8 series owners, you only need a bios update to run the new haswell refresh line of CPU’s coming out later this year
(i7-4790k etc)
Dammit, i wish AMD would hurry up with their new architecture already. Bulldozer has been laid to rest, the last revision will be excavator which will only be in the new ‘Carrizo’ APU’s due later this year.
On a laptop front, thanks to HSA, the APU’s have more grunt and overall processing power than intel’s latest haswell cpu’s now.
