@iNgeon and I were having a brief discussion about SSDs the other day. Anyway, I came across the article linked below. It’s very interesting (if a bit long).

The TLDR; version is that some Samsung SSDs have issues with TRIM.

Linux will only enable trim on intel SSD’s unless you force it. They have their reasons :wink:

Intel SSD’s are way overpriced though.
