doesn’t seem to be working so well anymore … 
Dukey gave a good tip the other day - those slam mines can go in water - the shallow channels between islands. They apparently are proximity triggered, so a passing boat within a couple meters of them sets them off and its adios muchachos. But they disappear when you die - not like normal mines that live on long after you have bitten the dust 
I haven’t tried this yet myself, but sounds like a cunning plan
