For what it’s worth - if you get tired of seeing pinned topics, you can unpin it (for your view only), by clicking the ‘Clear Pin’ button at the bottom of a topic.
What’s the point of the pinned topics anyway. If there is a way to have them stay at the top of the list I haven’t found it yet. They are all over the place.
They appear at the top of their respective categories. By default you’re looking at “Latest” which is ordered by time.
If you instead change the view from “All Categories” to a specific category, you’ll see the pins.

Pins work per category, so pinned items will stay at the top of the category’s and not the front page
