And the biggest news for everyone:

- Free upgrade for Windows 8.1 users & a small fee for windows 7 users

The big reveal is on the 21st of January 2015 of which we are likely to see a consumer preview version.

If you own an Xbox one, you can stream the game to your PC with windows 10!

Windows 7, 8 & 8.1 users get a free upgrade to windows 10, you only have a year to do so.
Windows Phone 8 users get a free upgrade to Windows Phone 10.

Apparently it’s not unlimited. Only for a year for all platforms.

Anyone want to buy a RPi Model B 512mb ?

Microsoft confirms: DirectX 12 will be a Windows 10 exclusive

One point update that Anandtech disclosed as well is that Windows 10 and DirectX 12 will be bundled together — D3D 12 will not come to Windows 7, 8, or 8.1. The free upgrade offer on Windows 10 will doubtlessly blunt a great deal of criticism that MS would otherwise have come in for, but users who can’t upgrade or simply don’t want to won’t be happy.

No surprise, that’s how they force gamers to upgrade OS’s.

So… interbrand crossli or slifire.

Everybody running Windows now will be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, even if your copy is non-genuine.

meaning that if you upgrade in the 1st year it is free or do they want to have annual charges now? i.e. like support fees?

Slightly more info on this “free” pirate upgrade:

Essentially, if your copy of Windows shows as non-genuine, it will remain in that state after the upgrade, however there is no information on whether windows will expire after some time or not. According to the article, Microsoft says that there will be means to address the non-genuine state of Windows via the Windows Store.

Something every phone should have 1min30 to 2min03

So the Windows 10 has almost caught up with IOS and MacOs
